The Deputy Secretary for iTaukei Affairs, Mr Saimoni Waibuta, was farewelled this afternoon at the TTFB Complex grounds.
Mr Waibuta spent a long and an illustrious career in the Civil Service, spanning thirty four years. He spent thirty years at the Ministry of Education where he reached the post of Deputy Secretary for Education and later joined the Ministry of iTaukei Affairs as its Deputy Secretary in 2015 until his retirement.
While at the Ministry of iTaukei Affairs, he also held the position of Chairman of the Fiji Locally Managed Marine Area Network (FLMMA) and a member of the Fiji Museum Board.
The Ministry would like to wish him a happy retirement.
